Edition 13 – Lenny George (Camper-Van Of Love mix):

This mix has a vaguely nautical / aquatic theme and I also wanted to reference the 40th anniversary of the moon landings (I’m big into moon stuff) which the Clangers music does nicely. Cortney Tidwell’s track ‘The Tide’ manages to incorporate both the nautical and moon themes so top marks there Cortney! (plus I think she’s one of the best new artists around and it’s the stand-out track from her first album). I’ve also included an exclusive acoustic version of a song from Songdog’s new album which won’t be out until next year. I regard most of the music in the mix as psychedelic in lots of different ways and I hope it’ll induce a suitably woozy state of mind in the listener!
