Arctic Circle’s Sports Day Broadcast 2012
Apparently, sport is popular. Arctic Circle Radio’s first ever Sports Day Broadcast was recorded over the month of July 2012 at the Union Chapel Bar in Islington. As with all good sports events, you may remember from junior school days It’s The Taking Part That Counts and that also happens to be the name of a fantastic compilation put together by the Where It’s At Is Where You Are label. We’ll look more closely at the this compilation alongside musical contributions of varying degrees of sportiness from Benjamin Shaw, Letka, howtocuredyslexia, Rachael Dadd, Hong Kong in the 60s, Pete Astor, and The Leaf Library.
