Westminster Reference Library
35 St. Martin's Street, Westminster, London WC2H 7HP
It’s time to stock up on garlic and deck the halls with boughs of cobwebs as Arctic Circle presents a special co-headline show with The Real Tuesday Weld and The Miserable Rich this Halloween within the spooky confines of the Westminster Reference Library.
We’ll have the penguins quaking in their slippers as The Real Tuesday Weld perform their album The Last Werewolf based on the novel by Glen Duncan, preceded by a reading by the author himself. Beware the feel of hot hairy breath on your neck!
The Miserable Rich offer chills aplenty as they unveil their new album based around ghost stories, including the legend of the ghost of Anne Boleyn, and recorded at her birthplace Bickling Hall, where her spectral presence remains. Performance poet Alabaster de Plume introduces The Miserable Rich with chilling stories as you have never seen them before!
There will also be pumpkin carving, face painting, fancy dress costumes and a plethora of creatures who ‘vont to bite your neck’ but may just settle for a nice piece of cake.…Quoth the penguin, “Tea, anyone?”
[Please come dressed for the occasion with a free mystery gift to anybody coming in sinister fancy dress]
